We have recently moved offices to the valley. Fortitute Valley is an area of the city filled with idiosyncrasies and differences. In the one hand you have the dodgy area, crowded with drunks and addicts at any given time of the day. On the other hand, there are the trendy bars and restaurants, the expensive and designer shops and a gourmet market.
The office is near the posh area but every day I have to walk from and to the station and this is definitely not a stroll any longer. I miss the CBD location, and my lunch breaks spent in the botanical gardens.
The office space itself is definitely more pleasant, colourful, bright and vibrant so I guess that is a big plus. And on my lunch break now I wonder around the many shops out of my price range and day-dream ;-p
